IN PARTNERSHIP

TEXT SIZE:   S   M   L   XL

GCM exists to work in ministry partnership with missional churches, church networks, or city-focused outreaches. We further our values of evangelism, discipleship and church planting under another key value: local leadership. GCM focuses on training and supporting missionaries while entrusting the local church with spiritual oversight.

We sometimes like to say we are a “deacon ministry” for the local church, referring to the role of a servant-leader found throughout the New Testament.

Our application and assessment process is guided by this key value. Applicants must have a local or sending church or ministry with spiritual authority in order to begin our process. A key leader from the church or ministry must work with us as we assess each candidate.

Does your church already work with us? If your church or ministry already works in ministry partnership with GCM, then you’re ready to begin and your key leader representative may already be established. For existing campus or missional churches, this often is a GCM missionary in a pastor or ministry leadership role.New to GCM? We establish new partnerships with like-minded churches or church networks on a regular basis. Before we can assess a missionary candidate, we’ll need to establish our ministry relationship, and identify the key leader who will work with us as we assess candidates. This may be an executive pastor or other ministry leader. For church plants, it may be a sending church, church network coach, or representative of a church board.
