GCM exists to work in ministry partnership with missional churches, church networks, or city-focused outreaches. We further our values of evangelism, discipleship and church planting under another key value: local leadership. GCM focuses on training and supporting missionaries while entrusting the local church with spiritual oversight. We sometimes like to say we are a “deacon ministry” for the local church, referring to the role of a servant-leader found throughout the New Testament. Our application and assessment process is guided by this key value. Applicants must have a local or sending church or ministry with spiritual authority in order to begin our process. A key leader from the church or ministry must work with us as we assess each candidate.
