GCM has a rolling assessment process, and you may initiate your application at any time.
However, all missionaries must participate in our 8-day New Staff Training, and it is currently offered at 3-4 times a year in Orlando FL. Training registration deadlines cannot be moved.
All components of the process must be completed before candidates (“Provisionally Accepted”) become eligible to register for a training.
Applicants who desire specific training dates should begin the process as early as possible to complete the assessment process before the desired training registration deadline.
Tip: it’s not uncommon for applicants to unintentionally delay their own process by not carefully reading ahead and submitting all requirements. We care about each missionary’s success, so we encourage you to approach our process with a detailed eye. And feel free to contact us—we’d love to help.
We can guarantee an interview and decision if an application and all required materials arrive in our office by the suggested dates below. While we accept applications at any time, we can not guarantee applications after this date will complete the assessment process by the nearest registration deadline.

International Applicants
International Missions applicants are evaluated on a rolling basis, but must attend the same New Staff Training dates as listed above before beginning fundraising.
In order to complete the process before training registration deadlines, you should allow an additional four to six weeks for screening. See the application process.
Summer Intern Training
Applications are not rolling for summer interns: we only hold one public training per year, and the assessment process is fixed.
Summer 2012 Application Deadline: December 1, 2011
Training Dates: January 14 - January 16, 2012
Registration deadline for the conference is January 4, 2012.
